A Wee Bit About Me
As a life coach, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) practitioner and hypnotherapist my aim is simple - to help you to live the best life that you possibly can.
I’ve had an interest in NLP since I learnt a bit about it in my early 20’s (quite a while ago now!) and I did some night school study in psychology in my 30’s (also quite a while ago now!). However it’s in more recent years that I decided to properly train in NLP as well as hypnotherapy and life coaching and now I work with individuals just like you – and I love that I can really help people to live the lives that they want!
I have been very lucky to have trained with Scotland’s own Ali Campbell and I continue to work with him on an ongoing basis – Ali is proud to be regarded as one of the leading NLP experts anywhere in the world and I, in turn, am very proud to be working with him. I feel hugely privileged when people ask me to help them to get back to their natural state of wellness.
I’ve had a pretty mixed bag of life up until now – just like many folk! Marriage, divorce, 2nd marriage, problems conceiving, death of pets, death of parents, job changes, ill health, money problems and much more have all featured for me. I’ve worked in banking, civil service and charity sectors and have interacted with people from all walks of life - I take people as I find them. I have firmly believed for a long time that while we can’t control everything that life throws, we can choose how to react to it – but we do sometimes need reminding that we have that choice!
I live in Crieff with my husband, son, two dogs, two tanks of giant african land snails and one tank of tiny fish, and we love that we have wild ducks that come up to our house to be fed each day (they all bring their baby ducklings to meet us when they hatch too!). Being parents of a lively young home educated boy who loves his scooter and mountain bike we encourage his passions as much as we can, and we are looking forward to touring the country’s skate parks and bike trails over the coming years. As a family we love getting out on our paddle boards as often as we can too and I also adore wild swimming - we are very grateful to live amongst and have access to Scotland's many beautiful lochs.
I have a love of nature and I particularly love animals whether they have fur, feathers, sharp teeth, scales or tentacles!!
